This study sought to determine the associations among psychosocial factors, approaches learning and academic achievement. The employed descriptive correlational research design. target population was 5340 students from five Polytechnic Colleges in West Hararge Zone. used Yamane’s (1967) formula come up with sample sizes of 372 who filled questionnaire. Pearson Correlation Coefficient, multiple regression analysis stepwise were analyze data. established that factors are important ingredients for intended achievement be realized. It is recommended education stakeholders institutions under investigation should pay due attentions as an imperative ingredient achievements
